Frequent power outages in this area of Burundi led the center to contact the EKI Foundation to request a solar installation that would allow safe and continuous use of the school's equipment and offices. In the end, it was decided to build two separate installations: the larger one covers the needs of the high school, and the smaller one is responsible for powering the offices and the rest of the community buildings.
