Previous Situation; The NGO Zabalketa built a boarding school so that girls who live long distances from school can attend. Previously, these girls could not attend school regularly. The school and boarding school did not have a source of electricity nor hot water.
Now, thanks to the installed solar system, the students have lighting and an electrical supply, with the advantages that this implies for them, in terms of safety and use of time, since now they enjoy lighting to study and play.
A solar termal system has also been installed so that the students can have sanitary hot water and the showers have been conditioned.
Part of the necessary equipment was sent from Spain, and another part was purchased in Bolivia, in collaboration with the local company SIE-SA that also performed the correct installation and commissioning of the project.
In short, the education of these students has undergone a major improvement, which will help them to better prepare and avoid premature abandonment of school, as this improves their daily conditions.
