PLAYING is a young NGO created in Madrid by university students dedicated to raising funds through sporting events. The funds are destined for the creation and maintenance of this kindergarden in Gambia.
This Basori Kindergarden was not going to have access to the electricity grid, so a solar system was the most logical option for the electrical neccesities. The system gives light to the school, as well as an electrical supply for laptops, refrigerators, etc. and for pumping water.
The school has 3 classrooms, 2 offices, 1 storage room, 1 kitchen and 7 bathrooms.
The installation has been carried out with local personnel directed by the school and trained by the Eki Foundation.
