The second project started in May 2022. The course offers basic solar training to students with a background in electricity and consists of a nine-week module that also integrates other content, in accordance with Burundian government requirements.

In order to offer these technical studies to people with no previous knowledge of electricity, this programme will be extended in terms of content, duration and number of hours.

• NGO: Salesians of Don Bosco
• Training: technical training certificate in solar energy (60 hours)
• Impact: 2 graduating classes (73 students)

It is planned to continue with teacher training as necessary to raise the level of training, relying on the Don Bosco Solar centre in Ghana.
