August 2021 saw the successful start of this first training programme at the Salesians of Don Bosco training centre on 8th Street in Monrovia (Liberia). This programme has received important recognition from the Liberian government, becoming the official occupational standard for photovoltaic technicians in the country.

• Training: technical training diploma in solar energy (511 hours)
• Impact: 3 graduating classes (55 students)

Several of the graduates have already had the opportunity to work as photovoltaic technicians, carrying out various installations in the field. In addition, two of them have been hired as teachers at our centre, thus contributing to the training of future photovoltaic technicians.
